About Inspector Ben
Ben Jimison has over twelve years experience in home and structural repairs, including working through college with his uncle, a general contractor, and his father, a painting contractor.
Licenses and Certifications
Ben is a licensed home inspector (N.C. License #1654, S.C. License #001103) and a licensed general contractor (N.C. License #50410). Ben is a Certified Mold Inspector through Environmental Solutions Association. Additionally, Ben is a certified remodeler for Hartland Siding and a certified installer of Velux skylights.
Training
In addition to his extensive certifications, Ben has taken the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)/NARI Lead Remodeler Training program. Additionally, he has studied General Contracting and Home Inspection at Central Piedmont Community College, as well as taken courses in floor, bath, shower, mud bed and countertop installation at Charlotte Ceramic Tile School.
Memberships and Affiliations
Ben is a member of the North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector's Association.

In addition to running Assured Home Inspections, Inc., Ben has run his own repair and remodeling company, Handyman-Can, Inc., for over 11 years.
